Mullet Madness
Well Todd was right. I do cut a "mean
Mullet". I got to cut 2 of them today. It is so ridiculous. How can people not know how silly they look? No one ever says, "Hey, can you trim up my Mullet?" It's always, "Keep the length in the back, but cut it up over my ears". So they really don't know that they have this style..
I wonder what would happen if I did a whole different, better haircut one day.. Not that I would, but it could help some poor Mullet victim see the light.
Anyway, I had 3 walk-ins today, which was good.
I have a perm on Saturday, so that's some good money I'll be getting :)
Not much new, stuck in hair world right now. I'm going to take a Redken color class. I will be a Redken Color Specialist after I'm done. Coolness. Keep your fingers crossed for Fayetteville.

It's up
My name is now on the sign at work. I drove up there tonight with Kylee to take this picture. Didn't want to look too silly.. unless someone from work reads this..then.. um.. oh well.
Work has been good this week. Tuesdays are still slow so far. Tuesday #1 I had one walk-in, and Tuesday #2 I had 2. So at least it's improving. Gotta take the bad days with the good days.
Not much exciting is going on right now.. Hanging out with Kylee a lot because she is BACK :)

Well I have learned that I have the most sensitive family in the world. Therefore, I apologize for saying we all suck. That did include myself you know.. I didn't answer either. But that's ok. I guess I've been disowned now. I hope everyone's happy with Sarah taking my place.
I have some good news, which I would post. But I'm sure no one cares now :)
Work is good
Well I got to start work today, and it was good :) I only did two things that you could consider "work" though. I swept some hair off the floor one time, and I got some foils ready for a highlite. That would be all. So needless to say, it wasn't a very stressful day. I got there and unpacked all my stuff and tried to organize. Then after lunch I basically sat around and chatted with people, watched my "boss" do some haircuts, and ordered some products from the
lady who tempts us with good deals. All of the girls seem nice at first, which is good. They may be crazy.. but not as far as I can tell. Tori is the lady I am working for. She's really nice, very busy. My little room is cute, it is very little. My friend Shelly is goiing to paint a picture for me to hang on the wall. That will be cool. I'll write more when I actually do something, but work was good for the first day, so that is good.. good.

Well here's the result of all my pretty decorations :) I think next year I won't try as hard :) It's too much to not win :)
Anyway, I didn't get to start working today.. The owner of the salon was sick, so she didn't get to clean up my room this weekend. I'm supposed to start tomorrow now, which is less pressure since I'm just being an assistant. It'll probably take me all morning to move all my stuff in. I will be glad to get it out of my car since it's been there since Saturday. But thank you to everyone who wished me good luck for my first day! I'll let ya know how it goes.

Hope everyone had a good new year's eve!! I hung out with my friends and had some yummy strawberry drinks :) I'm hanging out, watching football today. I've been playing my Sims game a lot too.. it is very addictive :) Gonna make some breakfast on my new griddle, thank you Dad. Getting ready to start work.. I tried to go move in yesterday, but they didn't have my room ready yet. They're moving stuff all around in it, and the owner said her husband was doing that this weekend, so it should be ready on Tuesday. Which means I won't be doing much hair on Tuesday, because I'll be organizing all my stuff, but that's alright. I have to take my decorations down soon too... bleh. I should get a newsletter for this month where I live soon, and I'll know if I won the decorating contest :) Have a good New Year's Day! Eat some black-eyed peas for good luck.
