Oh Jeez

I have received my information from the State Board of Cosmetology. I take my test on December 6. That is one week from Tuesday. Also, 10 days away. I've been pretty calm until I got my packet. Now I'm starting to freak out a little. I'm just ready to get it over with though, so I guess I'm glad it's soon. It could've been the week after that, but I'm going to get my license sooner this way, so that will be cool. I'm ready to start getting paid. I got my huge amount of nail polish in the mail today, it's all on a big stand, looks cool.
I'm going to a wedding of someone from High School tonight. That's always weird. Kylee and I also met up with our friends Kristah, Samantha, and Ashlee for lunch on Friday. We hadn't seen each other in forever so that was kind of entertaining. Got caught up on all the gossip. I'll put a picture on my polish on here later because I know that will be something to look forward to. Haha.

Late Birthday

I just got my little bitty ipod nano! Oh yes, it is very cool. It's nowhere near full yet, but I have lots of songs to go through. Thank you again, Dad. Have to work and go to Fayetteville this week. Getting my picture taken at Sachet with everyone that work's there for the paper. I'll try to get a picture of my room or at least the place so you can see what it looks like. Have a good week!

I had a great birthday! Got some good stuff, still have some presents on the way, so it's kinda like an extended birthday. Thank you to everyone who gave me something/sent a card/called/baked me a cake/bought me diamond earrings :) hah, sorry had to add that one. Caleb gave me some really pretty earrings.
I'm enjoying not going to school I guess, it won't really set in until tomorrow I think, cuz I usually go to work for Ed on Monday and go to school on Tuesday. Not anymore! :)

Not a beauty school drop out

Well look at this, I am done with school :) Yesterday was crazy, the girls at school pulled a big prank on me. We usually do that to people on their last day, however I totally forgot about that, so they really got me. I was going to be done with school at 2:45. Well at about 1:15 I was coloring a girl's hair from school and the receptionist came up to me and said "Please don't be mad, but this lady called and requested you and she wants her acrylic nails soaked off (1-1 1/2 hr process), nails put back on (1 1/2-2 hr process), and get a micro (microdermabrasion, 30 min). Jerree (the owner) said you have to do it since it's a request, I'm really sorry." I just looked at her like, what?? So I went and asked the instructor in the red jacket, Guila, if this was true. She said she didn't know, and to just go ask Jerree (lady in dark blue jacket). So I asked her and she said yes because the lady who wanted all that was pushy and she didn't want to lose business. So I set up to do some nails, 2:00 came along, 2:15, 2:30... This woman is usually late anyway, but at this point, to do all that stuff to her would keep me at school until about 5:30! So I go over to where we do our nails, and another girl who's my good friend is doing some nails as well. I told her I was mad because of this whole situation, and she looked at me, started smiling, and laughed. Then I realized it was all a joke. But it was a good one, so it was ok. They also decorated my car. It was a good last day, but it was kinda sad having to leave my little family there. But I get to go back for free pedicures as a former student, so I'll probably be back there every 2 weeks.
Now I just have to get ready for my big test. I'll be studying like crazy for the next month or so.
Gonna eat dinner with Mom & Ed tonight, then Kylee will be here tomorrow for my birthday weekend. Woo woo :)
Now I must go watch e-bay because I have 2 auctions ending in 30 min.

LAST DAY

Today is my last day of school!! I have been up since 6 this morning, so I thought I'd be productive and leave a post :) I'll put a graduation pic on here later. The last 2 days at school have been really busy because everyone wants me to do their hair before I leave. I colored 2 people's hair and did a haircut Tuesday, yesterday I colored one girl's hair, and today I have to color 2 more people's hair and do a set of nails. I haven't done any clients out of school this week because since I was sick, everyone thinks I'm already out of school instead of having 3 more days this week. We had a party yesterday and the theme was Thanksgiving food. Everyone brought stuff so that was cool. We ate a lot. I was very crazy yesterday because I was so excited. I'm sure today will be no different since I woke up wide awake at 6 this morning. Ok gotta get ready for my last day of school. Woo hoo! :)

My last Tuesday

I have one more Tuesday of school left. Just a little update :) All I did today was go to work at Mom & Ed's. I had to break up a fight between Charles and Lucy, but that was about as eventful as it got. I'm sure I will be watching Monday night football tonight. The Colts and the Patriots, woo hoo :) haha. The Colts are undefeated though, so it should be a good game. Gah, listen to me. Ok anyway, this picture is of Woody and Rascal, they are weird and like to sleep together. I'll let you know how my last Tuesday goes tomorrow. I'm also bidding on some nail polish on e-bay right now so cross your fingers that I win!

Almost there

I have 3 days of school left. 3 days out of 10 months.. I am so excited, and freaked out because I have to take my test soon. I'll graduate at 3:15 on Thursday unless I get extra time in the 2 days before that, so it could be like Thursday at 2-2:30 :) But for sure on Thursday. Flowers and balloons will be accepted, haha :) Just kidding. I'll get a picture of me with my diploma for you all.
